Service Teams display the love of Christ to our members and guests by creating a welcoming environment where members and guests can feel valued and cared for because they are valuable to Christ.
As people who have been redeemed by Christ, we reflect Christ. God has called us to be his holy people whose lives are shaped in worship to God. One of the ways we worship God is through serving. Thus we serve on various teams—embodying the very character of Christ to others.

Portico Kids
Portico Kids provides a safe, caring, and fun environment for children to learn about Jesus each week.
Hospitality Team
The Hospitality Team welcomes all members and guests by greeting them warmly and providing basic refreshments such as water, coffee, and tea.
Connection Team
The Connection Team welcomes members and guests by helping them navigate the building and connect them to the life of Portico Church.
Security Team
The Security Team protects members and guests by being watchful of any threats to the Sunday worship gathering.
Prayer Team
The Prayer Team shows the love of Christ to members and guests by leading them in prayer and praying for them as they respond to the work of Christ.
Connect Students
Connect is our ministry to 6th-12th graders. This team serves by fostering a community of students passionate about being and building the church.

The Portico Worship Team help us respond to the good news of Jesus every week by leading us in a time of corporate singing.
Media & Sound
The Media & Sound Team provides clear presentations to help members and guests follow sermons and participate in corporate worship through song every week.
