Love Cville

Join us in reaching out in love to our city

SUNDAY, JULY 28TH - 5-7pm
Young Lives Pre-Camp Picnic @ Darden Towe Park

Come hang out with Young Lives moms and their kids and help provide a meal for them before they head off to camp! Young Lives is Young Life’s ministry to teen moms and has been a longstanding partner of ours at CCC. We are providing chicken for dinner and would ask if you are coming to please help us out by bringing a side or dessert to share!
Neighborhood Outreach

We would encourage you to invite a few neighbors, co-workers, or unbelieving friends over to your home for a dinner or cookout. Maybe even coordinate this with a friend or another couple from your community group.
"Love the Court" @ Friendship Court

It is a time where we can love on the people in the Friendship Court Community through festivities and food. This allows us to foster an environment where people get to know each other and gospel conversation can take place. It’s a opportunity to live out Paul’s words in 1 Thessalonians 2:8 where he says:

“We cared so much for you that we were pleased to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us.”
THURSDAY, AUGUST 8TH - 5:30-8pm
Summer Block Party @ Shops at Stonefield

Join us for an evening of fun and festivities as we throw a block party for families at the Shops at Stonefield! We will have live music, bounce houses, snow cones, face painting, balloons, and more, along with a raffle where we hope to be able to engage people with the good news of the gospel.
Moms @ Pen Park

Moms, have you ever wished for an event you could invite other mom friends to who aren't currently involved in a church?  We would love for you to gather with us at Pen Park and invite some unchurched friends for a morning of fun, food, and fellowship with your kiddos. We will provide the coffee, bagels, water, and everything else if you will come with a few friends!
Choose Your Own Activity

Choose a missional activity to do as a family or as an individual:
  1. Bake fresh bread, cookies, brownies, etc. and hand-deliver to your neighbors
  2. Go hiking with lost neighbors or co-workers
  3. Invite someone to go to the Farmer’s Market with you
  4. Go for a prayer walk in your neighborhood and intentionally engage neighbors who are out and about
  5. Host a game night
  6. Go to your neighborhood pool/park and bring extra food or drinks to share
  7. Offer to babysit neighbors kids so they can have a date night
  8. Host a play date and invite other moms in your neighborhood
  9. Write a letter to a friend or member of your family, telling them of your faith and praying for them
  10. Go door to door in your neighborhood and invite people to come to church with you in the morning
