What if you couldn't choose your own faith? What if worshipping with friends risked your future? What if owning a bible could get you arrested?

This is life for young people living in Iran under strict Islamic rule. And yet, spreading underground the Iranian church is growing rapidly. Shining Christ's light into a region long marked by darkness.

Join us here at Portico Church on Saturday, November 15th from 2:00-3:30pm -- we'll be joining the livestream of the LIFTED conference that is being broadcast live from Iran.

This is a powerful opportunity for our CONNECT students to gather and witness how their peers in Iran are worshiping the same one true God. Together, they’ll see the beauty of the gospel at work in a place far beyond Charlottesville, Virginia—or even Western culture—and be reminded that God’s kingdom is global and alive.
